Are you a female Veteran of the UK Armed Forces Regular or Reserve currently studying for a role in healthcare e.g. you are at a UK University on a medical, nursing, physiotherapy or occupational therapy degree course?

We collaborate with our cohort partners and UK Universities to identify female veterans transitioning from the Armed Forces and pursuing a healthcare career with key contacts within NHS Trusts. This ensures that new joiners are recognised and supported throughout their journey. If you're about to join a Trust on placement or you are about to start your new role and would like to be introduced to a welcoming contact, reach out to us. We have a network across the UK, and if we don’t have a direct connection, we’ll find someone who does.

We also plan to provide individualised support via our mentorship programme. This programme allows members to volunteer to act as a peer mentor to a female service leaver during their studies and as they prepare to transition into a role in healthcare. We are really looking forward to getting this off the ground in the near future as feel it will be really beneficial to our service leavers.
