Are you a female who is about to leave the UK Armed Forces, Regular or Reserve and are in the process of applying for a role in Healthcare?
We collaborate with our cohort partners to identify female veterans transitioning from the Armed Forces and pursuing a healthcare career with key contacts within NHS Trusts. This ensures that new joiners are recognised and supported throughout their journey. If you're about to join a Trust and would like to be introduced to a welcoming contact, reach out to us. We have a network across the UK, and if we don’t have a direct connection, we’ll find someone who does!
We’re excited to announce that we are developing an online toolkit designed to tackle common job-seeking challenges like CV writing, contract negotiation, and interview skills geared specifically to women. This resource aims to make the job application process and your transition into civilian life smoother and more manageable. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting new development.
We also plan to provide individualised support via our mentorship programme. This programme allows members to volunteer to act as a peer mentor to a female service leaver as they prepare to transition into a role in healthcare. We are really looking forward to getting this off the ground in the near future as feel it will be really beneficial to our service leavers.
