Celebrating the Launch of the Female Veterans Toolkit

We were honoured to attend the launch of the Female Veterans Toolkit last month, an inspiring event that proudly featured many of our own members.

💙 It was a wonderful afternoon spent celebrating the experiences, strength, and contributions of more than 800 women veterans who so generously shared their stories to shape this much-needed resource. Their voices ensure that women who have served are recognised, valued, and supported.

❤️ The stories, videos, images, and speeches were powerful, and the hard work behind the toolkit shone through every detail. Huge congratulations to Liza Jarvis, Stacey Denyer, Ria Luke, Hannah West, and Alison Brown for bringing this exceptional project to life.

🩵 We also enjoyed reconnecting with old friends and colleagues and making new connections across the veteran community. A highlight was a quick but meaningful conversation with Veterans Minister Louise Sandher-Jones.

🫶🏼 We’re incredibly proud to be included in the toolkit, and even prouder to see so many of our members featured.

💭 Our hope is that this toolkit will help ensure women veterans receive the right support at the right time, and that their unique needs continue to be placed firmly on the national agenda.

About the Toolkit

The Female Veterans Toolkit is a comprehensive, research-driven resource designed to help organisations better understand and support the 272,000+ female veterans living in the UK. It offers practical guidance and actionable recommendations to help services become more accessible, inclusive, and responsive to the lived experiences of women who have served in our Armed Forces.

We are already implementing the insights from the toolkit to enhance the way we support female veterans—and we strongly encourage other organisations to explore and adopt this valuable resource.
